Comments on Recommendation The section only receives (directly) about 2% of the member dues. This is such a small amount, it limits the scale of events that the Section can support. Vancouver is fortunate that we have access to some generous sponsors and occasionally we can get a share of the profit from a conference; Smaller sections will have a difficult time without this advantage.
